A superb burr walnut lap writing desk. Interior structure made from mahogany and finished with ebony and Calamander with brass fittings. The silver plated ink pots original to the case
Blue leathered slope matching the blue velvet interior of the secret draws. The secret opened by removing the lid of the first compartment and pressing the floor. This will release the spring on the secret compartment.
Within the secret compartment two blue plush velvet lined draws are located. The original invoice for the purchase of this case and others were found on opening the secret drawer.

Condition
The case is superb. The Brahma lock has been removed and fully cleaned and serviced by the maker Brahma.
